I was trying to slipstream SP1 (then tried SP1a) when I got something close to this message....

"integrated installed fail. The language or platform for the destination directory and service pack 1 must be the same. "

Has anyone else seen this? Thanks! bbv

    Hi bigbillyvegas
Welcome to the boards. I've not yet tried it, but have this page bookmarked. Perhaps it will help?

    Daizy,

That procedure pretty much mirrors what I did, but I didn't get past step 4 of your linked procedure (c:\cd\sp1a\update\update.exe /s:c:\cd\root) where the integration of sp1a and the xp cd files is supposed to occur. Once I hit return at the end of the above update command, I get the "language" error.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks,
    bbv

Sorry........as I've said...I've not run it yet. And the closest I've come so far to similar, is this.
