I'm thinking of giving the Firefox offshoot Pale Moon a try. I realize it is a very small project. I'm wondering if this is hurting its security. Is there a website or two that will analyze how secure your browser is?

I haven't had any problem with Firefox in 10 years use. Used with XP/Vista/W7/W8-8.1 and W10. So satisfied I would not change.

This site gave me the browser header. I didn't see anything else about browser security vulnerabilities. Is there something else there? I'm not concerned about spoofing my browser user agent.

Did you click on Proceed? Then on the next page click on GRC's Instant UPnP Exposure test or one of the Shields up services below?

I clicked on Proceed, and then found the only test that looked like it was related to my browser--the browser header test. I'm not interested in testing my router's safety. The INstand UPnP test has this, right above it:
Click here to check your router now...

Would that give me a record of my browser's security vulnerabilities?

Last time I used that site was to test Windows XP's firefall capabilities. I'm concerned now, with looking at my browser.

I've been using and recommending Pale Moon as an alternative to FF for several years as my primary alternative browser (I still use IE as my primary). I say, go for it.

I agree with Bill. I've been using 64 bit Pale Moon (v 27.0.3 is current) as my primary browser for years, with Firefox (50.1.0) as backup. I don't use IE at all.
