Probably this belongs in the Security/Virus forum..

Good luck. You didnt say what Anti-virus program you are running. This is from Norton. Keep your definitions up to date. I update weekly..

Unfortunately, the SOB virus adds **** to the registry, and removing sirc32.exe without correcting the registry will prevent a lot of applications from opening.

SirCam Virus Information & Removal Details

The page gives detailed instructions on how to purge your box of it, along with a number of useful links.

Trend Micro offers a "fix tool" to correct the registry without having to go registry-surfing.

Keep us informed on your progress either way.
