Signature question in 4.75

Hi,

If I set up mail so that the response is quoted above the previous mail by choosing the "Start my reply above the quoted text" preference, my signature still does not appear at the top. Instead, it appears at the bottom - as below:

<Response>

<Quotation>

<Signature>

How do I fix this?

Hi musicollector,

This cannot be changed, it is hard carded in the program. To quote one of the leading Netscape experts:


A signature at the top and before any quoted text will wipe the quote
and any subsequent text below the delimiter "-- " .. This is against
convention and the programmers have a lot more to do than insert a
non-standard, unconventional feature.

This does not mean that you or anyone else hasn't the right to add it
wherever you wish.
