    Hi
    I have just been given a sidewinder 3d pro joystick. I have a Creative Live Value card and no ides how to install and use this joystick I would appreciate some help installing and using this joystick

    First off if you did not get the software for it you will find version 3.02 at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/sidewinder/downloads/default.asp The following is from the paper work I got with my SideWinder 3D Pro. Plug the 15 pin game port connector into the MIDI - Game port on the sound card. Install the software. Without the software the control only works in analog mode.
