    Hi,
About 4 weeks ago my sidebar gadgets took different positions every time I boot up. Since I like each gadget in a particular position I wonder if there is a way to lock them in. I wonder why all of a sudden the gadgets change their places in the first place? Hopefully someone has the answer?
    Cheers Axel

It's a known problem with the 64-bit version of the Sidebar. Some have suggested to unchek Start Sidebar when Windows starts (from Sidebar Properties), rearrange your gadgets & then re-check Start Sidebar when Windows starts.

    Thanks Arie, I'll try this.
Funny thing is, it only started doing this a month ago. Before that I never had a problem. Perhaps faults like this one are caused by new updates from Microsoft?
    Cheers Axel

Vulnerabilities in Gadgets Could Allow Remote Code Execution (2719662)

Solution: Disable gadgets (Click the Fix it button above "Disable Windows Sidebar and Gadgets ")
