    On opening the Event Viewer on my PC i discovered a whole list of red warnings.
    Event Viewer/System/Event Properties.
    All the events were either:-Event ID:59
    : : : : : Event ID:32

    Can anybody tell me what i need to do to alleviate this problem?

    Thanks, Jules.

    Is something in the pc not working correctly?

    Posting the Source and the "description" of the event would help.

    I have several from where my antivirus found what it thought was a virus...Many of the "warnings" are no big deal.

    If you double click on an Event you will get more detail - you may like to post a couple of examples here (double click on the Event to open, on the icon below the up/down arrows to copy to clipboard, then paste here).

    It could be a C++ problem - solved here by install the latest C++ ....

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

    OTH it could be adware, but I would not expect that to show in Event Viewer, but details of the Event would help in this respect.

    The pc is operating normally. Have pasted the details from one event.
    Will install the MS redistributable Package (x86) Seems like a solution.

    Pete's solution should work, this error is usually caused because the run-time libraries are not installed. Applications that use side-by-side libraries cannot run without the run-time libraries.
