Just two Athlon PCs with network cards.
Clients/Adapters/Protocols show up as identical on both PCs.
Each can look at himself and the other OK,
Both show wrong sharing eg I do not have HDD E:/ on either PC.
Cleared out all Network settings and re-set - still the same.
How to remove shared (but non-existant) disks/printers individually from Network display/ Win Explorer ?
Partitions show correctly (Qualcomm) no registry errors reported,
    Any ideas ?
    Thanks

What's in the E drive folder when you open it?

You probably have some folder sharded out and called it E

    Thanks for the reply Steve.
The (not have drive) image of e:\ is the same as (have drive)
    d:/
    Same error on both PCs
Quite complexing .... same wrong network view from both ends
    (PC1 <-> PC2)
How to delete views of shared disks/partitions in NetHood
that are not physically there ?
    regards

When you run net view from a cmd prompt, do you still see the extra shares?

Thanks Newt - the command shows the "servers" ie A1 and A2
PCs but no info about shared disks on the network.

Well, I only have a vague idea what caused the wrong and
    duplicated Network views.
Anyway, here's how to correct it in the case of PCs A1 and A2
connected with identical adapters and protocolls :
A1 : right click successively on all shared drives
    in sharing check "no "
repeat above but this time check share
    reboot
    A2 : same as above

    reboot A1 again

    regards
