Show hidden Icons button

    Hey
    Can someone give me a clue on why I would keep losing the show hidden Icon button down by the clock.
    It disappears and shows back up seemingly at random?
    I checked the task bar and customize notifications and it seems to be set to hide Icons when not in use.

    My first thought, and something to consider, would be that there are no icons not in use to hide at times. Some icons will not appear until the application is used, and will remain after use is stopped, hence leaving an unused icon to hide.
