    Depends on what you do and what you want.

    Vista is sufficiently different from XP that it'll take some adjusting to. I've been using different builds of it for a year now and am just getting comfortable with it.

    But it's got a lot more to offer than XP did - and there's a lot of the familiar stuff from XP leftover if you do a bit of digging.

    All in all, if you've got the hardware to support it and don't mind the learning curve - go for it!
