Currently I have my paging file on the 2nd HDD in my machine (which is also my data drive) but have now installed a NAS.

I have moved everything from the 2nd drive to the NAS and setup the backup of the NAS back to the 2nd drive.

As the title indicates, should I place the paging file on the network drive or would I be better to leave in on the 2nd HDD in its own partition?

    Thanks

Instinct tells me that the page file should stay where it is - the NAS connection is likely to be much slower than the hard drive and moving it to the NAS would impair performance.

Thanks Pete - that was my thinking - I just wanted a second opinion one way or the other
