If I remotely connect to a server with the administrator credentials to perform administration on the server, should I log back out when I am done, or should I hit the cross and disconnect ?

Thanks, i'm kind new to this, so wasn't sure if when you hit the disconnect, the logged in account would be logged off.....and when i'm reading more into this i'm thinking that probably the admin account shouldn't be left logged in ?
