Should I install IE 7

    Hi..searched this forum but couldn't find a definitive answer...in fact got a little scared that it might be more trouble then its worth...some of the features sound great (at least at the microsoft site). As experienced computer users would you install IE 7? Thanks for any information...:D

    Most certainly - it is far more secure than IE 6 and has some good features such as tabbed browsing. I have run IE 7 since the beta stages without issue and would thoroughly recommend that you install it.

    If you find that you do not like it it can be uninstalled through Add/Remove Programs which rolls you back to IE 6.

    As a side note IE 7 is included in Vista with no uninstall facility as IE 6 does not come loaded with Vista.

    FYI Internet Explorer 8 is now in beta and should be released later this year.

    Thanks for the info..

    Thank you so much for the info on installing IE7 - I guess I'll go ahead and give it a go since I can use the restore function or remove the program.
