Should I do what MDG says and uninstall SP 2?

I am having a problem with my copy and paste functions,which I have never experienced before.I have adaware and Spy Bot and Norton Anti virus 2005 and Zone Alarms Fire wall installed too.Tech support says it's got to be spy ware.And that I should uninstall and reinstall SP 2,which I have no clue on this.In the past I attemped to uninstall unexperienced and lost everything,all programs on my computer.Can somebody suggest why my copy and paste won't work?.Ocassionally it does work when I restart the computer.I like to copy n paste pics but I can't figure out what I should do next.Some help would be great as I am new to all this

I noticed that you were asked for a HighjackThis log in the Security section, so why don't you do that and see if this can be solved that way first before doing anything else. http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=36842

Continue answering in that thread, that way all symptoms will be in place for everyone to refer to instead of scattered - hard to keep track that way.
