Could be a leftover Shockwave zombie file that's causing issues. Install Secunia 2.0, and let it scan your computer for outdated software.

In Configuration / Settings, check all boxes except "secure browsing" & "create a log file ".

Once a scan is completed, go to Scan Results, and look in the right-most column and click to approve updates. Secunia will then download any updated files and install them for you, and the program will also remove any leftover (zombie) files too. Be patient though; it may appear that nothing is going on, but Secunia is working silently in the background even if the interface is closed out.

    ceyerman ...

You've marked the thread resolved, but haven't said how you resolved your problem.

Whenever I've had a Flash Player problem, I've found it best to uninstall it with the dedicated Flash Player Uninstaller before installing the latest version of Flash Player.

Personally, I think Adobe should stop referring to the Flash Player as Shockwave Flash when the plugin is installed, because they also have another program called Shockwave for Director (which won't run on 64-bit systems).

It was a shot in the dark, but I'm glad to hear it fixed your issue, ceyermann.
