Although rare, sometime happens that when I start the computer and after I enter the password and my desktop appears a message reveals notifying me that cannot create the shell notification icon. What does it means and why that happens. Is there anything that I can do to stop that.

Run a virus scan, you may be infected.

I used to get this exact same message every time ClearTweak (2.7) opened at logon. One after the other, I ran AVG 8.5, Advanced SystemCare, A-Squared, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster, and the BitDefender QuikScan, and all came up *clean*. I practice safe surfing (as much as possible), go to no risky websites, use Firefox in non-Admin mode with the NoScript add-on, and have no apparent virus or spyware problems. I haven't got that alert in a long time now, even though I didn't do anything about it. Could it be just a transient?

Just a suggestion: Could it be from a startup item? Try disabling your startup items (using MSConfig) one at a time, rebooting in between, and see if that singles out the bad actor.
