I have downloaded Windows Services for Unix 3.5 from Microsoft Website and installed it on a Windows XP SP2 computer.
Shared the folder, I can mount it from the OS2 computer. But when I access it, it said Network Resource is not available.

I just want to do a simple sharing from this windows XP computer(Any Computer, Any User can Read/Write to it).

    Windows FireWall is off.
    Can any one help?

Your going to find it hard getting answers to an OS/2 issue. You must be one of the few users still using that OS.

However, my guess is that this is a permissions issue. I'd suggest you look for solutions as to getting an OS/2 user recognised by a windows system.

If the file transfer is just occasional, have you thought of using FTP. You could set up a freeware/shareware FTP server up on the XP box and grab files via that. I would hope the OS/2 supports FTP, even if only as a client.

Another option may be to dig out an older PC and install Linux on it with Samba, and then use that as a staging post. Windows PC saves files to Linux box. OS/2 box grabs files from linux box. Also look at some of the cheaper external hard drive systems. For example Buffalo do some very affordable network storage solutions. You will probably find it easier to connect to one of those from an OS/2 PC than from a Windows PC
