Windows Vista sfc / scannow found errors in windows vista ultimate X64 after 4 tryes

hi i been having a weird problem ever since i got vista and i got vista 2007

well first when i installed vista on my pc and set up windows media player for the first time i get an error wsock32.dll is missing i didnt care about it since it didnt give any permant error so i went on using my pc

now i installed far cry 2 and while its installing far cry 2 installs visual basic and i get the error again wsock32.dll missing

so i tryed the sfc /scannow i didnt run the command prompt as admin

so i let it scan normally and it found errors but it said it didnt work to fix the errors

i rebooted and did a new try this time i ran the command prompt as admin this time it says the errors are fixed and that it created a log file i do a reboot and scan again to be safe it still finds errors and fix them and it keeps doing that no matter how many times i scan
