I'm sure someone can tell me how to fix an issue when I try to uninstall HP Wireless Printer. I am having problems with it and wanted to uninstall and reinstall the software, but when I do this, a popup "setup.exe has stopped working ". I've tried all things that HP has suggested but still have the same issue.

    Thanks much!

It doesn't describe it as "Uninstall.exe" so it appears to be running the original setup program (that will uninstall as well). See if you can find that Setup.exe file, it might be in C:\Program Files\HP(?) or on the installation disk if you are using that.

When you locate the file, right-click on it and select "Run as administrator ".

I just asked myself what I would do if that last suggestion didn't work...and that is...what I usually do :)

Run the installer disk and install the wireless printer again, THEN run the uninstaller. [Reboot after any installation/uninstallation stage.]

Did you try running the installer CD again?

Have you been to the HP website, looked up the model of the printer and searched for "uninstall" there. Investigating some HP printer information, they can have a special uninstaller on the CD.
