My settings for the POP3 incoming server, 'mail.trinidad.net', is being changed to '127.0.0.1' everytime my computer restarts.

abnewallo--I have not seen this problem. 127.0.0.1 is the IP for your own PC so attempts to access are just recycling. I assume you are not able to receive emails.
    So why is this happening?
One reason could be spyware/malware. You could follow the instructions here
    http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?t=37074
Another reason could be corruption of Outlook Express or Internet Explorer. There are fixes, but you have not told us the version of Windows or IE you are using.

Another reason could be because you have some program set up to act as a proxy server for your email. Antivirus maybe? Have a look at your AV settings. If it's set to monitor the mail, try setting it so it doesn't and then see if it does it. There's other programs that do this type of thing too. Could be wrong but I'd start by exploring this avenue first. When the settings get changed can you still send and receive email?
