Im setting up a w2k server as a vpn server and the server only has one nic. The network is using NAT to get out on the internet. When I come to where I specify the Internet connection that the server uses I have 2 choices: 1. No Internet Connection 2. Local Area Connection(which is my nic). When I select my nic it says "You have chosen the last avaialble connection as the internet connection. A VPN server requires that one connection be used as the private network connection ". Now I am assuming it is saying this becuase it wants the server to have 2 nics.

Does anyone know how to configure this with it only having one nic so I don't have to put another nic in the server?

    Many thanks in advance.

Personally I would use Net Screen
***** a software solution for VPNs
