Setting up System restore to set a restore point automatically

    Is there a way to set SR in XP home to create a restoer point automatically ? I have looked and looked , but the answer is eluding me . Any help --or a point in the right direction would be appreciated . thanks :confused:

    Hello Dussman,

    Make sure the Task Schedular service is running - w/o that, the roughly 24 hour auto restore point cycle is disabled.

    Start > run > type services.msc > ok brings up XP's services page.
