I want to set up a network for 3 PC's and two laptops...with internet access through DIRECWAY satellite for each of them. At present, I have two of the PC's connected via Linksys WAP11 and Netgear Ethernet Hub (EN104). I recently purchased Linksys "Wireless-B" Compact USB adapter to use alternatively on the laptops and one of the remaining PC's. Where do I begin (I'm a total novice when it comes to networking!) and what steps do I follow for a successful home network with internet access through DIRECWAY?

jsodini, you'll need to uplink the Linksys Access point WAP11 to the Netgear hub. Take a straight through cable and connect it to one of the standard ports on the hub. The access point has a LAN port on the back. Use that port and connect it to the hub. You might find some useful instructions in the user guide here.

What operating systems are you using?
