By the way, the title of the post refers, incorrectly to Firefox.
Verizon is a royal pain. If you look at the website, you will see a myriad of ways to get Verizon mail. Do you have Hogh Speed, or what? The best I saw was this:
But who knows which ports? I believe that this topic had been discussed before.Check if the Verizon mail server accepts secure SMTP connections on ports #465 and/or #587 instead of the default port #25? And port 995 for incoming mail.

Verizon uses port 110 for POP and 25 for SMTP across the boards. I never had any issues setting Verizon mail for people. The KEY is to create the mail accounts at the Verizon member area.

When you subscribe to Verizon DSL or ADSL you get a master username and password. The password is usually written on on of the receipts.

Login at Verizon Central and create additional mail accounts. Then just follow the prompts in the account setup in TB.
