setting home page default

My default home page was set to MSN.com, but has now been switched to another home page that I do not wish to have as my default home page. (How does this happen anyways?)

I've made the changes back to MSN.com as my default home page through control panel/internet options/general home page, but everytime I reboot my computer, the home page i don;t want comes back up as the default.

Is there anyway to change this once and for all?

Just tried to change my default home page the usual way back to MSN.com, however, instead of taking me to MSN.com, I'm taken to http://search.xrenoder.com

Anyone know what the hell is going on here and how I can get some control back over my machine!!!!!

Thanks much for that info. Downloaded and ran the program and was suprised to see just how much **** had made it's way into my system.
