setting an agent to run at scheduled time

    I'm trying to find out if within Outlook the following can be done:

    1) can I set up an agent (or macro or script) that will run at spefic time intervals checking to see if anything is in the inbox.
    2) If there is mail, open it, open the attachment, save the attachment to a specified location\path to be defined

    Highly recommend to include SCAN FOR VIRUS or ONLY open mail from certain people.
