I am in the process of setting up a new server running Windows 2003 SBS. Is it possible to set client registry entries using GPOs or is the only way to do this using logon scripts?

If it is only possible using logon scripts, how can I stop the user from being asked if they want to apply the registry patch?

    Thanks in advance

ps The clients are currently running Windows 2000, although I might get more clients running Windows XP (dunno whether it will be Pro or Home) in the near future.

    Hi a60wattfish and welcome.

Weekends (including holidays) can be sorta slow on the forum so more chance of a good answer tomorrow.

As to the home vs. pro part, since home cannot do domains and has very crippled security, you most likely will want the pro version.
