server exception

    my computer;
    winxp sp1,512 ram
    40gb hdd
    when i try to install software my computer says

    (server thew an exception).

    what have i done to my baby?

    Go to your event logs and look around. When you find the event that matches the error you posted, open the event then click on the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text copy to your clipboard) and paste the entire thing in a reply on this thread.
