I've recently purchased a Dell Dimension 2400 having used my old computer for the last 4 years. The old one had no USB ports so all my peripherals were serial/parallel. Are there such things as adaptors for using my old hardware with the new USB ports? Thank you.

There certainly are - I use a Belkin USB > Parallel cable to run my second printer HP Deskjet 520. No doubt there are others. Try the Belkin site.

Thanks, folks. I was beginning to think technology had left me and my old hardware behind :)
