Serial number dilemma.....

    Help,
    I wish to RMA an Asus A7V333WA motherboard and don't know which number is ther serial number. There are numbers on the back og the board, on top of the purple parallel port and another number near the IDE connector. Which one of these numbers could be the corretc one. They already returned my first email saying to please provide the correct serial, but which one?

    The easiest place would be the box the motherboard came in. It might be on a label on the box. If not there, then check the top and bottom (especially near the edge and near their logo), and you might find S/N with it. You might also ask the dealer you bought it from where to find it.

    I think Hotaru is on the right track. Inspect those numbers again and see if one has "S/N" in it. Otherwise, I would just e-mail back to them and ask.

    Thanks for all the replies. After some searching we found the original box it came in and the serial number on it. :)
