I use thunderbird for opening my official emails. When I send emails from thunderbird & open the email in internet explorer they just dont appear in IE. But they are present in the thunderbird sent item box when i open in thunderbird.

Any idea how to get through it ???

    Thanx...

If you want to view email in IE, you must have an email account which provides Web access ... example Google gmail or Hotmail. Create and send an email from Thunderbird to Hotmail (used as example). Open IE and go to your Hotmail account and open the email you sent from Thunderbird.
    ALSO .....
Many ISP's provide POP3 accounts (used in Thunderbird) and a Web view to the same account. This allows you to use IE, and view the same email. Their may be options you want to use to have more control over your email account if you choose to use a POP3 access and Webview to same account on a frequent basis.

Sent mail is stored only in the Profile from which it was sent. I am using three different versions of Thunderbird, each with its own profile, and only the one I sent from shows that particular Sent mail. If you want to see Sent mail anywhere, use the website (Webview), as Dennis said.
This is nothing new. I could never see mail sent from an Outlook Express set up in other mail programs.
