I recently bought a DV camcorder and after converting a movie from the camcorder file type (IMV) to an MPEG file I try to send it but my server (Direcway) disconnects me before the movie is sent. Is there a way to convert the movie to a different file type that is compressed or easier to send? I even tried to send a small 2.8 MB clip but I still get the same result. I get disconnected. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your ISP will no doubt have a limit on the size of an email (including attachment) that they will handle - I would check with them. My guess is that even 2.8 Mb may be well over the limit.
