    Hi all,

My Outlook 2007 client, attached to Exchange 2007, has my own email, of course.

But our school also has a "general" email box, which I check. When mail comes in to that, I simply forward it to the appropriate person. However, when I forward the mail, I noticed that is is leaving MY mailbox. In other words, it's in Sent Items for me, not for the general box.

How can I change it to send as the general user? I have access to Exchange if the edits need to be made there.

    Thanks!

    Chris

You would have to access the mail on the school server and not thru you mail client.

When you go to TOOLS->Accounts how many accounts do you see?

If you see two, then when forwarding the mail you should see a button called Accounts. You'd have to manually select the General account.

I see one account: my primary. Yet the "general" is open... Do I have this setup incorrectly?

I'm guessing that the General Mail is being forwarded to you at the Exchange level...

You could in theory - ADD the general mail account to your pc... Then when you forward you can specify which account sends it.
