I have recently acquired a PDA and have OUTLOOK installed and use ActiveSync to synchronise to my PC.
I would like to know is it possible to send/receive emails via WiFi at locations which have WiFi such as hotels without connecting to a PC? If so please advise how this is achieved. I was told by a friend that all I need to do was set the INCOMING MAIL SERVER to the mail server of the ISP I subscribe to (eg mail.ispname.com) and the SMPT (outgoing server) to that supplied by the provider of the WiFi service at the location I am at. Is this true and where do I set these values on my PDA?
    Thanks

Does it have built in wireless capibility?
Have you looked in the manual?

My PDA is a HewPackard rx3715 and has both Bluetooth and Wireless.
I cannot see anything in the PDA manual re using WiFi to send/receive email and thought that would be part of the Outlook application and therefore be somewhere in a manual for Outlook for PDA's which I cannot find. The PDA manual only mentions sending/receiving email by connecting to a PC via ActiveSync and someone told me that they thought it could also be achieved remotely via Wifi.
