Sending an .swf file

    Hello ; I have made a .swf file but when I send it to some one they can't open it. I have done the open with and choose iexplorer . It will start to open and then stops . Is there anyway I can change something and sent it in a different format. Any help at all I will try. THANKS

    I may have posted this in the wrong place.

    Ok Thanks I'll make sure they have it installed and try again. Will the micromedia flash player option show up in the window that comes up when you click on open with?

    Nope. You need to open swf files with a browser such as "iexplore" or netscape.

    There is a plugin available for Irfanview to open shockwave 'flash' (swf) files but I don't recommend it (you end up with two irfanview windows)

    PS If your friend just wants to play swf files, here is the download page for the Macromedia Flash Player:
