When I try to send a ducument or picture with the mail recipient option from the send to menu nothing happens with windows live mail, I am sure it was working at some point. WLM is the only mail programm installed. I installed incredimail and accepted it as my default mail program and when I tried to send documents with the send to option it worked perfectly (incredimail).
Then I opened WLM made it my default mail handler when prompted but the send to option still did not work.

I restarted my computer in safe mode and the send to>mail recipient with WLM worked perfectly  restarted the computer again normally and again back with the same problem, so to conclude send to>mail recipient option for WLM now works only in safe mode

    any help please?

Try changing a registry key. Click the Windows Orb (Start), type regedit, press Enter and in the left pane navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail. In the right pane Double-click Default and type Windows Live Mail as the value data.

It is already Windows Live Mail as the value data. As I said before curiously enough it works fine if I start my computer in safe mode so I assume registry values are ok. I tried to repair but with no improvements and even uninstalled and reinstlled again but remained with the initial problem.

I had a similar error with Windows 7 Live Mail, it required me to go to Windows Hot Mail, where I was able to rectify the error of additional
    mail accounts.
