I'm trying to assist a friend with " "Send To" in Win ME and cannot get there! I remember Win 98 was easy to find and add to the menu. But, something must have changed in ME, can't find the file.

Would a kind soul tell me how to add a folder (Want to add the CD-RW) as a "Send To" item.

If I have your attention now, I need for you to jog by memory by telling me where I can go to unselect ">" on forwarding email. I've been there and changed my machine but just can't get the correct path in my Brain to take me back!!!!

    C:\WINDOWS\SendTo
same place I assume, its hidden so either have show all hidden files and folders or On win me if you know the name(in most cases) a search for it will turn it up.
As for adding to the send to ? I guess it depends on exactly what..
for the CD I think just drag a shortcut there..Should already be one there.

I dont normaly use OE ,, So I better note comment :)

Thanks Lonny, I didn't think to show the hidden files which is probably where it is. But it doesn't show on C:\Windows at all. Neither did the Search for "Send To" show up. That was what puzzled me. So I'm thinking if I change to show all files I will find it. Thanks for the info.

The ">" remove stuff really aggravates me. I've been there numerous times and cannot remember where it is. I think my Gray (Grey) matter is turning another color with age.

Yes I wasnt sure But you may have to also (folder options) have it set to show hidden operating system files Or I should say uncheck
[ ] hide protected operating system files

On the ME system what is listed in the r/click context send to ?

You were right in your first post. I changed to "show hidden files" and there it was as big as the rest, "Send To." Got that fixed OK.

Thanks. Now if I can just remember where I changed the , do not show ">" in forwarding emails I'll be OK. It's there somewhere. Have a good day.
