Since installing SP2, When I use right click/send to/mail recipient I receive a (more) lengthy message in the body of the email that opens

I know its easy to delete but is it possible to disable or restrict this?
It never used to be quite SO long with SP1

The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
    000_0486
    000_0496
    100_0432
    100_0437
    100_0439
    100_0443
    100_0449
    000_0485

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.

I can't reproduce the message you see ....

This is all I see using a file as an example ....

The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:
    Readme.txt

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.

Would it be right to assume you are sending 8 attachments?

Moving this thread to Internet Explorer/Outlook Express

    yer thats right.

its the whole "Note: To protect against computer viruses..." that it new with SP2

Prior to this (SP1) the complete message just used to read

"Your files are attached and ready to send with this message "

with no mention of file names etc. its easy enough to delete I just wondered if it was possible to switch off?

Play with the settings in Outlook Express>Tools>Options>Security tab.

I'm using XP Home, SP2 and I don't get that warning attaching txt or jpg files using both HTML format and plain text formats.

On the security tab I have checked:
Internet Zone(Less secure but more functional)
Warn me when other applications try to send mail as me
Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail

    Everything else is unchecked.

i have the same options selected, with the exception of the Zone (though I have tried it on your settings)

to re-afirm, this only occurs when i use the right click, send to option on a file. not when attaching manually in outlook express
