Outlook that came with Microsoft Office 365. Everything normal upon shutdown last night. When I started Outlook this morning in the tray on the bottom of Outlook was a note "Send/Receive error" I clicked on it to see the problem and it said unable to send error 0x00CCC0F. I hit the cancel button and now whenever it does a Send/Receive cycle I get the same message. Now the weird part, I am getting and sending e-mail normally and there are no unsent messages in Drafts or in the Outbox. Except for that message everything is normal. Any ideas? I could live with it but it just bugs me.

Did you write down the correct error code? Are you sure it isn't 0x800CCC0F?

Either way - Google the Error Code as there are tons of possibilities.

Your code is correct. I looked it up and there are a ton of possibilities. I do remember that Win 10 did an update as I shut down last night and it started when I opened Outlook this morning. I'll poke around and let you know if I find anything.

Just an update. I was looking through the MANY possible things it could be and in reading one comment they said it can sometimes happen when sending a Read Receipt. I did get an e-mail a few days ago requesting a Read Receipt and I said to send it. In order to test my problem I sent a message from one e-mail account to my other e-mail account and sure enough now I have two errors in the send/receive error box. I have canceled the task but to no avail. I'm still trying to figure it out.

Does your OutBox have anything stuck in it?

Found the problem. For some reason the Domain Firewall would not allow a Read Receipt to send. I disabled the firewall clicked Send and Receive and the task completed with no error. I turned the Firewall back on and ticked never send a Read Receipt and as they say "That is That". Any more trouble I'll let you know. Thanks for the help. Jack
