lessgary - Welcome to the Board :)

Would you please give more details of what you are trying to do - I do not see the command 'send page by email' in the Edit menu of Outlook Express 6.0

I have moved this thread to the IE/OE forum.

The command is actually in Internet Explorer|File|Send.
Never heard of the problem, but I suspect a corruption of either IE or OE. I therefore would suggest Start|Run|type sfc /scannow|OK. Have your WindowsXP CD ready to insert if asked.
Can you provide more info on the "Profile" you are asked to provide? Is this an OE profile or?
Are you able to send/receive other messages in OE normally? I assume you do already have an account set up in OE.

Welshjim You Are Correct. It Occurs While In Internet Explorer, File, Send, Send By Email. The Profile It Asks For Is An Oe Profile. This Has Become A Problem Recently (worked Perfectly Before).
Yes, I Can Send Messages Otherwise. I Can Re-install Xp But Will Have To Download Sp2 Again. Any Other Suggestions Before I Begin?

Have you run System File Checker as suggested by Jim?

Start > Run > type in sfc /scannow - note the space. This is the first step in a Repair of IE/OE in XP.

    IE Profile or OE Identity?

Having spent a little time searching around the MS Newsgroups for IE/OE I think it might be a good idea to post a HijackThis log .....

Download HijackThis through Quicklinks in my sig., save it to a folder on your drive, e.g. C:\HJT - not to the desktop or a temporary folder, run it and post the log here.

I was told to go to IE, tools, internet options, programs, email. There I found the problem! Evidently my email program was reset to Outlook instead of Outlook Express when I downloaded SP2 (that's when the problem started) I know that I did not reset it.
Thanks for all your time, I will definitely keep this site in my favorites list.

Glad to hear you got it fixed - not too sure that we contributed much on this one :) Sometimes it's too easy to overlook the 'obvious'. Unfortunately I've never used Outlook and the 'new profile' request failed to ring a bell.
