Send Link/ Send Page Problem

    I have the final version: 7.0.5730.11 of IE. A couple of days ago I discovered that the Send As a Page and Send As a Link where no longer working. I've searched the Knowlege Base and the only article I found that came close was Article ID: 926325 which seemed to be incorrect. That is my main concern.

    Another thing I discovered that may have a bearing on this, is that I still have IE6 files and folders on my hard drive. Can I remove them and if so, how?

    Will some kind soul please help me fix my problems?

    Send as Page and Send as Link are both related to Outlook Express ....

    I suggest you re-register OE and it's library files as outlined here ....

    An Outlook Express basic repair kit
    You will have as you loaded IE 7 'on top of' IE 6. If you look in Add/Remove programs you will find that you can uninstall IE 7 - doing this automatically reverts back to IE 6, hence the files on your drive.

    I would leave them where they are - one day you may wish to return to IE 6.

    :) :) Thanks Pete, yours is the best information I've received from other forums about my problem. Forgive me for not replying sooner, but I was away. I will centainly use the OE basic repair kit and post back if it fixes the problem.
