    I guys.
I've formatted an old PC with the original XP so I can sell it.
The trouble is, I can't get it to connect to the Internet.
I can connect as far as my LAN to my router using wireless, but no further. I don't have a driver for my ethernet connection.
My network connection shows as connected but where it says Internet Gateway I have a 'Disabled' Internet connection.
I've googled it and found info on disabling Authentication, but this didn't help.
    Any ideas folks?

One warning I keep getting is 'Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you onto the network'.

Best of luck selling an "old" comp running XP. You will need a cable connection to enable recognition for the Internet initial hookup.

I doubt if somebody would be interested in it since there are models right now that are cheap.

Have you got a local Hospice or Salvation Army second hand shop who might be interested?
