    Hi:

Haven't asked a nutty question for some time now !
    But, here goes again.

    Windows XP
    Outlook Express

We have 115 e-mails in inbox. From 10 people.

We have a folder set up for each of these 10 persons.

Now, we wish to move mail from x to the x folder, yhen y to y etc.

    Problem:
    a. We can select all and all will be high lighted for moving.
    b. We can click on one and that one will be high lighted for moving.

    Question:

How can we select more than one but less than all ?

    Thanks

Left click once on one to select it then hold one of the Ctrl keys down and select the others you want. As long as you hold the Ctrl key down, each one you click will remain selected. If you select one by mistake, just click it again to de-select it.

Once you have a group selected, let go of the Ctrl key, put the mouse cursor over any one of the selected items, drag it into the destination folder and the other selected ones will follow along.
