We just set up a two-computer media center in our church library, utilizing a broadband internet account, for member use. When I went to set the content advisor passwords, I saw that someone had already set them, and that no one knew what they were! These were older Pentium 1 machines running Windows 95 and 98 respectively.

I do need to re-set the content advisor to its highest level, and I do need to be in sole control of the content advisor password. How can I get past the old password unless I know it to change these settings?

    Thanks!

    Pr Mike

There is no way around the Content Advisor Password that you can accomplish yourself. The only solution to your problem is to contact a Microsoft Support Professional. The following link contains an article from Microsofts Knowledge Base which explains this further and provides a link to Microsoft Support.
