Google led me to here: PIC Database. If you use the Vendor number from the diver's details tab, it should give me the chip and the driver I have to go download.

I'm just not sure how to read or input the code that I do have, and the site doesn't tell you how to read the code to find the information, either. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    PCI\VEN_14f1&dev_2f50&subsys_207c14f1&rev_01\4&3b1caf2b&0&38f0

Is this a store bought pc where you could look on the pc makers web site to see what the brand name is to the modem? Or or just get the drivers for the pc makers web site.

It's just a stock Dell Optiplex model, as far as I know. But you did just give me a good idea I had not considered: Dell lets you look up computers by serial number and has the exact drivers at-hand.

Let me go take a look, to see if I can find the PCI Simple Communication Controller there.

Nope. It's just a driver with an ! on it, so I decided to cure it, since I was in there solving a video problem anyway. Didn't think it'd prove to be such a hassle.
