searching for hyperlinks. Unwanted.

    When I download a movie file on newsgroups, my cpu is bogged down while Outlook is scanning the file and "searching for hyperlinks ". I don't want this to happen. I'm not sure why it happens. How can I turn it off?

    See if turning off the Preview Pane helps.
