    I dual boot win2000/Xp pro...
when in Win2000 it'll search for a file or ext in a second and find the D++ thing.
In XP pro, it takes forever and there's a 50-50 chance it will not find what-ever.

Is there some secret or tip that i'm misssing?

    Thx

    It is ..

Agreed - you have to dodge a @$#@ dog to find a file.

Granted: The search within ZIPs and CABs is cool.

    Solution:

Get the WinXP Powertoys (its free) run TweakUI

go to "explorer" scroll to the bottom and tick "Use classic search in Explorer" - no more doggy-doo.

    Regards
