Sorry if this isn't quite on topic, but since I downloaded the new version of Sea Monkey 1.1.4, I am getting the following message from www.cnn.com when trying to view videos.

The web browser you are using to view this video is not supported. Please use one of the supported browsers:
    Windows
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above
    Firefox 1.5 and above

I had no problem before the new download. Why is Firefox 1.5 okay and not SM 1.1.4?

    Any suggestions?

I have checked the bug site on Sea Monkey and it is very confusing.

    Gloria,
that is a CNN thing, and there is not much that you can do about it.
Firefox is a browser only program, while Seamonkey is a suite like Netscape7.x .
Some sites do not accept it. This is very annoying, but there is not a thing that you can do, other than faking your User Agent, or write to CNN.

Thanks Westside. I did write CNN and await a reply. LOL

I was just curious as it worked fine until I upgraded to new 1.1.4

    Gloria,

When I tried to view a video on CNN using SeaMonkey 1.1.4, in the video window there was an error:
I installed the plugin in Firefox, and then copied the plugin .dll file to SeaMonkey, and was able to view the video's on the site. If SeaMonkey is the only browser you have, you could try installing the plugin. Then check the plugins file located here: C:\Program Files\SeaMonkey\seamonkey\plugins. Look for NPTURNMED.dll in your plugins folder.

Maybe it will in the final release, but it does work with SeaMonkey 1.1.4.
