    SeaMonkey 2.21:
Auto Spell Check only works about 50-60% of the time IN THE COMPOSE MESSAGE AREA. It works fine in every other box including the Email SUBJECT line.

I have Re-installed several times and checked settings (O to 1,etc.). I can't find anything on Mozilla/SeaMonkey...regarding this go/no-go issue. Then I remembered Windows BBS.

Frustrating! Winter is coming. I can't afford to loose any more hair!!!

    Thanks,
    Carl

I hate I can't offer any help with this issue other than to tell you about a program called Tiny Spell.

My aunt uses it as a spell checker for Windows 8 Word Pad, and it also checks the spelling of typed words in most any other application, too. It's not a bad little program.

EDIT: There is a newer version of Sea Monkey available...

Maybe this new release will address your problem.

    James-
    Thanks for your response.

I just downloaded 2.22 and tried spell-check several times. OK so far.

I'll keep Tiny Spell in mind.

This was a frustrating problem because it only occurred some of the time. I've been using SeaMonkey for a very long time and love it!!!

I'll mark the problem solved and keep my fingers crossed.
