I'm running a P4 1.7 w/ 512 MB RAM on WinXP home. When I boot up, my pc (generally) goes straight to the MSI splashscreen then the WinXP boot screen. I recently noticed that from time to time I'll get the white text on black screen you see when some systems boot up and then a pause and the following (more or less) error:
SDRAM Frequency may have changed! Please check the BIOS settings by hitting DEL.

Well, I noticed this happening after a Norton AV LiveUpdate. I re-installed NAV and didn't see the error for about a week. Tonight, it happened again.

I realize I might be posting in the wrong place - I had no idea who else to ask!

    Thanks in advance-
    Zilla

Norton's AV LiveUpdate has been causing quite a few errors lately.
Might check their website and see if they have a fix, but I doubt it.
